Sunday, 28th February 2010 Simplicity of Yamaha M330 DAB micro system puts iPod at heart Yamaha's uncluttered M330 DAB micro system with iPod dock also features USB memory playback. With DAB and FM on the radio side of things, the M330 reads ID tags from MP3s burnt onto CDs. It's also capable of reading WAV (PCM format only), MP3 and WMA audio files from a USB flash drive. Its 2 x 20 Watts is a little lowly for big rooms, but as a second system in the bedroom or the main system in an apartment, the Yamaha M330 DAB micro system is a good option. With very deep, ported (bass reflex) speakers and subwoofer pre-out, the Yamaha is certainly attired to please. Speaker spring clip terminals and a combined DAB/FM aerial connection are tucked away at the back. Throw in a remote and the GBP 240.00 system represents good value for money. The Yamaha M330 centre unit's dimensions are 180 x 117 x 331mm and weighs in at 2.1kg, and is available to buy now. |
