DAB Digital Radio
The local DAB digital radio licence for North Wales, covering Gwynedd, Anglesey/Sir Ynys Mon, Conwy and most of Denbighshire/Sir Ddinbych will launch in early 2010 and will be operated by MuxCo (with UTV as a shareholder) on channel 12D and, subject to agreement in the future, channel 10D.
The local digital radio multiplex for parts of North-East Wales and Liverpool is on the air on channel 11B and is operated by Bauer Digital Radio. Please refer to our Liverpool DAB digital radio listings for more information and station links.
The local digital radio multiplex for North-East Wales and West Chester is planned to launch by the end 2009 (or early 2010) on channel 10D and is operated by MuxCo Wrexham and Chester. There were two applications for the licence.
