Monday, 23rd November 2009 Roberts ZoomBox easy on the eye for the visually challenged Roberts' new CD stereo portable, the ZoomBox, packs a DAB digital tuner and FM radio into a neat unit. The Roberts ZoomBox features a display zoom function, allowing you to increase the two lines of text in turn to double height on the backlit display - something which could be useful for those of us without 20-20 vision. The ZoomBox can also play back MP3 and WMA music files stored on SD card, through its built-in slot. The programmable CD is complemented by a bass boost and useful headphone socket. The ZoomBox is both mains and battery operated, using 6 "C"-size cells and weighs in at 1.75kg and 245 x 139 x 245mm. While the big draw will be a DAB tuner in a CD portable stereo, there's also an FM tuner built-in with RDS station naming. The Roberts ZoomBox is available now at under GBP 100. |
