Where to buy

You can get the Roberts Play M3 from Amazon in white.

Roberts Radio carries it off with neat and compact no-frills M3 DAB

Simplicity is the order of the day with the Roberts Radio Play M3 small, portable DAB radio. There are three direct-access memory presets for favourite stations on each of its DAB+ and FM wavebands, with buttons arranged along the top of the unit.

The Play M3 receives DAB, DAB+ and FM stations, giving it a futureproofing 'digital tick'; you'll also get DAB+ stations Magic Chilled, Jazz FM, Fun Kids and Union Jack if you're in their broadcast area. Older DAB radios won't play the audio from these stations.

With a simple LCD display, the Play M3's interface is as no-frills as they come, with up/down buttons for volume and forward/backward buttons for flicking around the digital dial to select other stations. There is also a headphone socket.

The Play M3 takes 4 'AA'-size rechargeable batteries, which means there's no need to buy an expensive battery pack.
