Pure Chronos returns with reduced power consumption and FM
Pure's revised Chronos - the Chronos 2 - keeps the triangular form of the original and adds FM reception and a light-dependent resistor to control the brightness of the display.
There's a new green-on-black OLED display, which helps to cut power consumption and a USB connection for any future upgrades required to meet the DAB+ standard.
The design retains the 4 separate alarms of the original Pure Chronos and these can be set for any combination of weekday and weekend times.
The Pure Chronos II includes RDS station naming and RadioText on FM and there are ten presets on each waveband for favourite stations.
