Pure is bringing out sequels to its successful Chronos iDock and Chronos CD alarm clock DAB radios, in two flavours that let you choose between iPod connectivity or CD.

The Chronos CD II and iDock II not only sport sharp new looks, but inside the case there's improved audio thanks to digital amplifiers and custom-wound stereo speakers, improved controls and additional features including PowerPort for connecting USB accessories such as a mobile phone charger, reading light or bedside fan (useful during the British summer? Ed.)

The Chronos iDock II works with both the iPod and iPhone. Both models will retail for around GBP100.00 and are due to hit the online stores in time for Christmas.
