Pure Digital recently launched the Bug Too - an updated version of its popular DAB recorder The Bug. The new model features the lastest firmware installed in addition to sporting a new titanium silver look.

EPG (Electronic Programme Guide information) can be downloaded and saved onto SD card for later recall, plus Bug Too features MP3 playback from an SD card, with full support for folders. You can even wake up to a saved MP3 file if you want to catch up on a programme you saved earlier.

A new button layout and design has been implemented in the revised Bug Too. Pause and rewind features have been kept on the model and up to 20 timed recordings can be scheduled simply by selecting the programme from the EPG list.

Existing users of The Bug can download new firmware via their PC to their radio, which gives access to all of the features of Bug Too. Whereas the original Bug retailed for GBP129.99, the new Bug Too comes in at under a ton - GBP99.99.
