The Pure Avanti Flow loads a tabletop system full of internet, FM and DAB digital radio and packs iPod connectivity to boot.

There's no CD player on the Avanti Flow, but the presence of an iPod dock and wireless internet radio reception makes up for this. Pure's 'eco-friendly' Clearsound system saves on power using class 'D' amplifiers (no need to leave the unit switched on to warm up!) and fits a subwoofer for room-filling sound. The two fixed speakers are set to fire slightly outwards, to make up for the small distance between them and improve stereo image.

The Avanti Flow has 30 DAB and 10 FM presets and uses The Lounge - Pure's internet radio portal - to store unlimited favourite internet radio presets. There's a handy alarm to wake up to a DAB or FM station with snooze function, plus a remote control.

With 75 Watts RMS on tap, the Avanti Flow is not shy of making some noise. The Avanti does support upgrades to its internal firmware to enable it to pick up DAB+ broadcasts, meaning the Avanti Flow has its sights firmly fixed on a worldwide market. It is understood the international version of this radio will ship with the DAB+ firmware upgrade.
