Sunday, 11th June 2006 Panasonic RF-D3 DAB digital radio
The Panasonic RFD3 digital radio builds on the success of its predecessor, the RFD1, to offer a handful of additional features and enhanced styling. The new model adds FM RDS station naming - handy for occasions when DAB digital reception is not available.
The RF-D3 dispenses with the D1's blue display trim and goes for an all-silver finish. 10 station presets can be programmed on each waveband - DAB Band III and FM - and there are 4 preset sound settings to play with.
Twin speakers, mains/battery operation, a telescopic aerial and a sleep timer complete the feature line-up. The new model can be found for around GBP 64.99 online, including postage.
To receive DAB digital radio stations in the UK, you need a DAB digital radio - a type of radio that can receive digital radio broadcasts. For more information, read our guide to DAB digital radio and discover more about radios available to buy.
