 DAB Digital Radio The commercial digital radio multiplex for Northern Ireland is on air now on channel 12D and is operated by Bauer Digital Radio. The BBC National digital multiplex is available in Northern Ireland on channel 12B. Following a successful consultation, Ofcom has granted permission for national digital services from Digital One to be broadcast across Northern Ireland on channel 11D from six transmitters at Divis, Carnmoney Hill, Londonderry, Brougher Mountain, Strabane and Limavady. The Digital One expansion into Northern Ireland will, according to the multiplex operator, happen in "late summer" 2013.
