Kids and teens music station Capital Disney is to close on Friday, 1st June 2007. A replacement for the station, which has been broadcasting since September 2002, has not yet been announced.

The station, which was formed from a deal between the then Capital Radio Group and Walt Disney Foundation, will be playing nonstop music without presenters until 29th June.

4 Digital Group recently announced it was planning a kids' service, Radio Disney, subject to its award of the second UK-wide national DAB digital radio multiplex.
