Sunday, 25th March 2007 UCB to set up national DAB network
United Christian Broadcasters (UBC) is set to launch on DAB in Stoke-on-Trent, having launched its service on the London II DAB digital radio multiplex in January this year.
The station plans to provide local content for the people of Staffordshire, although initially the station will use content from its UK-wide station on Sky digital, cable and the internet. UCB launches on the multiplex on 2nd April.
The broadcaster is hoping to grow a network for its stations across the UK on a region-by-region basis.
To receive DAB digital radio stations in the UK, you need a DAB digital radio - a type of radio that can receive digital radio broadcasts. For more information, read our guide to DAB digital radio, read DAB digital radio reviews and discover more about radios available to buy.
