Saturday, 2nd September 2006 Real Radio offers different sound on DAB digital radio - but not in Wales
Adult contemporary music and talk station Real Radio announced last month split programming on FM and DAB digital radio/Sky Digital channel 0146, with eight hours of live broadcasting, including a breakfast show with Tony McKenzie, drivetime show with presenter Rob Wain and a live nightly phone in show.
The new schedule looks like this:
0700 - 1200 : Tony McKenzie
At least for the moment, Real Radio Wales is not offering the new schedule on DAB digital radio, instead carrying the same programmes as broadcast on its FM frequencies.
To receive DAB digital radio stations in the UK, you need a DAB digital radio - a type of radio that can receive digital radio broadcasts. For more information, read our guide to DAB digital radio and discover more about radios available to buy.
