Listeners in the area with a DAB digital radio will be able to tune in to several new "digital-only" stations from July 2004, including modern rock station The Storm and dance music brand Kiss from London. |
 | A network of four transmitters will broadcast the local DAB services. The Southend and Chelmsford multiplex will also benefit from two new transmitters planned in Harlow and Sudbury in late 2004. The local DAB multiplex for Norwich is also expected to receive a boost in the form of a new transmitter based at Mildenhall, South-West of Norwich. The power-up date for this transmitter is expected to be late 2004.
