 | Galaxy has joined two other digital-only stations on the multiplex: The Storm - modern rock radio and Capital Disney, playing chart hit music from the last two years. Simulcasting on the digital service are BBC Radio Nottingham, 96 Trent FM and regional station 106 Century FM. Regional oldies and easy listening music station Saga 106.6fm is also planned to launch on the new multiplex. Sabras Radio, at the time of going to press, is broadcasting instead of Sabras-backed A Plus - a new youth-orientated Asian station. For the first time, Classic Gold Gem is broadcasting in stereo in the area, on DAB digital radio. Services on the multiplex are now up and running on block 12C on DAB. Existing DAB digital radio owners should perform a re-scan or Autotune with their radio during the next few weeks to be certain of picking up all services. A number of transmitters in and around Nottinghamshire will be powered up within the next two weeks to improve coverage across the county and into Leicestershire. To receive DAB digital radio stations in the UK, you need a DAB digital radio - a new type of radio that can receive digital radio broadcasts. For more information, read our guide to DAB digital radio and discover more about the tuners available to buy. With thanks to Kev for keeping us updated with developments on the Notts multiplex.
