Following the switch-on of these new digital radio transmitters on 13th February 2004, listeners with a DAB digital radio in Chelmsford and nearby areas in Essex should now be able to pick up the national digital services by performing an "Autotune" or "Autoscan" with their DAB-enabled tuner or radio.
