   station directory latest radio news air today feedback features  |  Thursday, 12th February 2004 Planet Rock, Virgin Radio in stereo and PrimeTime Radio come to Norwich The national digital commercial station Planet Rock, plays and spoken word station Oneword and oldies station PrimeTime Radio can now be heard in and around Norwich and parts of North-East Norfolk. A new radio transmitter has been switched on at Stoke Holy Cross, beaming out DAB digital radio signals to more than half a million potential listeners across Eastern parts of Norfolk. |
 | The switch-on means that Virgin Radio is now being broadcast in stereo for the first time on DAB digital radio in the area. Following the switch-on of these new digital radio transmitters on 10th February 2004, listeners with a DAB digital radio in Norfolk and surrounding areas should now be able to pick up the national digital services by performing an "Autotune" or "Autoscan" with their DAB-enabled tuner or radio.
