The full launch of services which will be carried on the two multiplexes is scheduled for 31st January, with testing on the Swansea multiplex commencing around a week before the official launch date. |
 | The transmitters located at Beddingham, Burton Down, Eastbourne, Findon, Hastings and Brighton on the South Coast are already up and running and intermittent tests of services are currently taking place. At the launch of the new multiplexes, listeners with a DAB digital radio in the above areas should perform an "Autotune" or "Autoscan" with their DAB-enabled tuner or radio to receive the new stations. The Swansea services will be carried on channel 12A, whilst the Sussex Coast multiplex is on channel 11B. To receive DAB digital radio stations in the UK, you need a DAB digital radio - a new type of radio that can receive digital radio broadcasts.
