The latest introduction to its series of radio transmitters means that potentially up to 240,000 people in parts of East Cornwall and South-West Devon can receive the new services. |
 | The switch-on of the latest transmitter on Thursday, 11th December 2003 follows another DAB transmitter switch-on in Plympton, to cover Plymouth and surrounding areas. Plymouth and Cornwall's local DAB digital radio multiplex is due to launch by October 2004. Listeners with a DAB digital radio in Plymouth, North Plymouth and parts of East Cornwall and South-West Devon can receive the new services by performing an "Autotune" or "Autoscan" with their DAB-enabled tuner or radio.
