 | The switch-on of the latest transmitter on Tuesday, 9th December 2003 allows around 108,000 listeners with a DAB digital radio to tune in to the BBC's services. Plymouth's local DAB digital radio multiplex is due to launch by October 2004. Listeners with a DAB digital radio in Plymouth and parts of East Cornwall and South-West Devon can receive the new services by performing an "Autotune" or "Autoscan" with their DAB-enabled tuner or radio.
