Started in 1998 as the obscurely-titled Mobile Listener, its name was changed the following year to RadioNow. Originally conceived as a way of finding local, regional and national stations across Great Britain, the site now offers information and guidance on DAB digital radio, station launches and now offers links to discounts off the latest digital radio products. In the last year the site has also added listings for Freeview digital radio stations. |
| The site has appeared in the Radio Times, The Scotsman S2 supplement, Internet Made Easy Magazine, the publication 1000 Really Useful Websites and appears for the fourth year running in the million-copy bestseller The Rough Guide to the Internet - now in its 2004 Edition. The site is also listed for the third year running in the Rough Guide - Internet Directory - also in a new edition for 2004. The Editor would like to thank the many contributors over the past 5 years that have provided information, feedback and support for the website.
