A new radio transmitter based at Mounteagle is now beaming out digital radio signals to more than 150,000 potential listeners in Inverness, Tain and surrounding areas of Highland - and as far easterly as Burghead in Moray. |
 | North London is covered by the new digital transmitter at Hemel Hempstead, which now improves coverage in Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and North London districts. Following the switch-on of these new digital radio transmitters, listeners with a DAB digital radio in these areas can now pick up the national digital services by performing an "Autotune" or "Autoscan" with their DAB-enabled tuner or radio.
