   station directory latest radio news air today feedback features  |  Wednesday, 19th November 2003 Yarr Radio prepares for local DAB launch in Bradford and Huddersfield Local DAB digital radio station Yarr Radio is set to launch in Bradford and Huddersfield, on the local DAB digital radio multiplex serving the area. The station, which already broadcasts across London, Coventry and Wolverhampton on digital radio, is due to launch on the multiplex for Bradford and Huddersfield on 15th December. The station also has plans to join Sky satellite digital radio. |
 There are three "r"s in Yarr Radio (count 'em) | Positioning itself as "The One and only Hit Asian Music Station on DAB Digital Radio", Sunrise Radio-backed YARR broadcasts around the clock hit music for young Asian people. Panjab Radio is also set to join the same multiplex, launching on 5th January. The station has already been heard broadcasting on the multiplex. Yarr Radio also joins Asian station Sunrise FM on DAB in the area.
