   station directory latest radio news air today feedback features  |  Tuesday, 18th November 2003 The Hits Radio goes on Emap's DAB digital radio multiplexes Pop-and-dance music station The Hits is the latest radio station to be spawned across several local DAB digital radio multiplexes. With a similar format to Smash Hits Radio, The Hits has made its appearance on the local DAB digital multiplexes serving Liverpool and Tyne & Wear. Launching around 16th November, the digital radio station has also been spotted on other Emap multiplexes broadcasting to Central Lancashire, South and West Yorkshire, Humberside and Teesside. |
 | The station, which carries the duo JK and Joel at breakfast and takes some of its programming from Manchester-based Key 103, joins Smash Hits Radio with its formula of pop and mainstream dance music tracks.
