The corporation has just launched its twelfth transmitter to carry national DAB services to new listeners in Swindon and Oxford - part of the latest round of DAB "switch-ons". The new transmitter based at Blunsdon was powered up on 23rd October 2003 and allows a potential 240,000 listeners to tune in to the BBC's new digital-only stations, such as BBC7 and BBC 6 music. |
