A-4000 adds its voice to DAB separates range

Aria Digital, a new company formed to bring DAB digital radio products to the marketplace, has announced the launch of its A-4000 DAB digital separates tuner.

Mini-sized, but sporting an array of digital and conventional analogue connectors around the back, including SPDIF and Toslink digital outputs for direct recording to MP3, CD-R or Minidisc, the tuner measures a compact 225 x 155 x 50mm.

Forthcoming data services can be downloaded to a PC through the tuner's built-in RS232 serial port. The tuner also features the standard RDI connector found on many DAB hi-fi components.

The package includes a telescopic antenna and an F-connector for adding an external aerial in poor reception areas. Separate power supplies control the analogue and digital stages of the tuner.
