The station, which launched on the internet in September 2001 and on satellite a year earlier, has pencilled in a date of 9th November for its launch on one of the three local DAB multiplexes covering London and the Home Counties. |

The station can also be heard between 13th October and 9th November on 87.7FM in Southall, as it prepares for its presence on DAB digital radio in London. Panjab Radio is the first Panjabi radio station to broadcast in the UK.
