 | Improved reception in and around Bromsgrove can now be found, as the BBC has also powered up a new transmitter in the Worcestershire town to bring DAB to a potential 160,000 people in the area, whilst improving reception for 50,000 more. The introduction of two more transmitters is part of a plan by the BBC to increase DAB digital radio coverage to 85 percent of the population by the end of 2004. Listeners with a DAB digital radio can receive the new services by performing an "Autotune" or "Autoscan" with their tuner or radio.
