Sunday, 20th July 2003 Perstel launch new Bluenote portable DAB radio Radio manufacturer Perstel has seen its third portable DAB digital radio hit the shelves. Priced at under GBP100.00, the new Bluenote radio weighs just 80 grams without batteries. The smaller brother to the DR-101 and DR-201 launched last year, the Perstel Bluenote offers DAB digital radio in a small, portable unit. |
| The new radio features a blue, backlit display and triple-line character matrix showing DAB station and text information. A signal indicator lets you know if the aerial needs to be repositioned. Powered by two AA batteries, the radio picks up all stations on DAB Band III in the UK. Stereo headphones are included and the radio has a telescopic aerial for picking up digital radio broadcasts. There's also a connector so that the Perstel Bluenote can be hooked up to an existing hi-fi amplifier or to a set of powered speakers. Measuring a tiny 60 x 84 x 24 mm and with a blue finish, the Bluenote is now available to buy online at around GBP99.99. Related links: |
