|  Tuesday, 15th July 2003 High Peak hits the high times The people of Buxton will be able to tune in to their very own local radio station from next year, as High Peak Radio has secured an FM licence to launch a round-the-clock service. Up against four contenders for the licence, High Peak Radio (formerly Radio Buxton) has chosen to launch on FM, with a music and speech service covering Buxton, Glossop, New Mills, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Whaley Bridge and beyond. |
