NowDigital confirmed as winner of Reading and Basingstoke local DAB ensemble

Local DAB services in Reading and Basingstoke will start within the next year, as operator NowDigital has been given the go-ahead to launch the multiplex.

Listeners with a DAB digital radio will be able to tune in to several new "digital-only" stations from June 2004, including modern rock station The Storm and dance music brand Kiss from London.

                           		 Easy listening music station Saga Radio, playing music from the last fifty years, will join student station SBN on the multiplex.

Classic Gold will be heard in stereo on the DAB multiplex, making its transition from AM to the new digital platform. 2Ten FM completes the current confirmed line-up.
