 | Weighing just 80 grams without the two AA batteries installed, the radio has been designed with sensitivity in mind; the A-3000 making the most of the signal in difficult reception conditions. The A-3000 DAB features 10 presets on both FM and DAB and comes complete with a set of headphones, which also double up as the aerial. The new radio is designed to be used out and about and the makers, Aria Digital, say it is ideal for taking on holiday across the UK and Europe. In order for the radio to pick up DAB on the continent, the radio is equipped with both Band III and Band L reception capability and is probably the first portable digital radio to do so. Aria Digital is a new specialist DAB digital radio company, which amalgamates European design with Far Eastern manufacturing and engineering knowledge. The company is due to announce a further four DAB digital radio products in the coming weeks. |
