   station directory latest radio news air today feedback features  |  Monday, 3rd March 2003 Norwich gets ready for DAB digital multiplex launch The local DAB services for Norwich are set to launch at the end of this month: the official switch-on date has been announced as 31st March 2003. Three new stations will go live at the end of the month in and around the city in Norfolk. They will be joined by a handful of other station already broadcasting on FM and mediumwave.  | BBC Radio Norfolk : news, information and music Broadland 102 : pop and contemporary music The Beach : Great Yarmouth's local station Capital Disney : chart hit music from the last two years Classic Gold : hits of the seventies, eighties and nineties The Storm : modern rock music and unsigned bands SBN : student radio Vibe FM : dance, r&b and drum 'n' bass Children's radio station Abracadabra may launch at the end of the year and local student programming is planned for a later date. World music and lifestyle issues station Passion for the Planet has yet to be announced on the multiplex. A country music or easy listening music station are also due to take their place in the ensemble, but no announcement has been made for these. The new multiplex, on Block 11B, can be found at the end of the month by performing a re-scan for the multiplex on any DAB digital radio tuner or receiver.
