 Tuesday, 7th January 2003 Saga 106.6 FM goes for February launch
The East Midlands' brand new radio station, Saga 106.6FM is getting ready to launch on Tuesday 11th February 2003 at 7am.
'Diddy' David Hamilton will be taking the helm of the Afternoon Show on SAGA 106.6 FM. He said: "Radio for people aged 50 and over is something new on the airwaves and I am delighted to be one of the pioneers and part of the launch team at SAGA 106.6 FM."

The station will feature easy listening and melodic music from the last sixty years.
Also in the presenter line-up is 'Big John' Peters, who has been broadcasting in the region for the 28 years, who will present weekday Breakfast. Hot on the heels of John Peters' show is Erica Hughes with a mix of lifestyle features, guests and chat.
