Pure Digital, the new name for DAB digital radio manufacturer Videologic, has scooped the What Hi-Fi Tuner of the Year award for 2002.

The successor to the DRX-601E and ES, the Pure Digital DRX-701ES builds on the success of the 2001 award-winner. The new tuner utilises a less-expensive chipset and sports an improved specification, including 99 presets accessible from a remote control handset and a better station ordering feature.
