Digital One expands coverage to 3 new areas

Commercial radio operator Digital One has switched on three more DAB digital radio transmitters, allowing listeners in Darvel (East Ayrshire), Exeter (Devon) and Redruth (Cornwall) to pick up the national commercial services.

The new transmitters went into action on 26th June 2002, bringing services such as Planet Rock and Core to DAB digital radio in these areas.

The new stations can be heard through a DAB digital radio tuner.
