Worthing's local radio bidder Splash FM will book childrens TV presenter Dave Benson-Phillips to host a Sunday morning show, if it is successful in winning the local licence for the town. The "Brunch Bunch" would be presented in Benson-Phillips' own inimitable style.

Benson-Phillips, who lives in the town, will join the new Mayor Councillor Eric Mardell over the Jubilee weekend to lead 300 local children wearing ‘Royal’ fancy dress, in the ‘Crowns and Cornets Children’s Parade’ on Saturday 1st June at 10am.
