Application proves there are no limits for radio coverage.

Cuillin FM is hoping to become the new sound on the Island of Skye and towns around Loch Alsh. The station has submitted its application to bring a community-led service to the area. With its endeavours to promote local culture, a majority of programming from the station will be in Gaelic.

The Radio Authority will decide in Summer whether to licence the station. If the licence is awarded, the station is likely to be on air in 2003.
