|  Friday, 15th February South Yorkshire won't stop at Real Radio A new FM station for Barnsley will launch next year, as a licence for the town and surrounding areas is currently being advertised by the Radio Authority. The closing date for applications is in late May and it is expected a decision will be made as to which of the applicants will broadcast to the area, in Autumn. News of the licence advertisement follows reports that South and West Yorkshire's brand new FM and DAB digital radio station Real Radio is testing on 106.2 FM. |
