Philips plug in to sound of internet radio with the Streamium MC-i200

Philips will be introducing a new hi-fi to the UK market this summer. The Streamium MC-i200 is a micro hi-fi system that features access to online music via a broadband internet connection. Listeners can either tune into net radio stations or access streamed tunes by music providers such as MP3.com, Virgin and AOL. The space-age-looking system plays CDs and MP3 CDs, has an FM-AM tuner and a jack so users can stream any one of thousands of online radio stations throughout the world. The Streamium can also be networked to a computer, with files being managed through a Web-based application. Initial estimates indicate a GBP 350 price tag.
