Is Vibe Hot or Not? - you decide

Vibe FM, the GWR and DMG Radio dance music brand, which is applying for the forthcoming East Midlands regional radio licence, has today launched a brand new website to discover the musical tastes of radio listeners in the area.

The station is giving visitors the opportunity to hear a selection of dance tracks at the site and to vote whether they're 'hot' or 'not'.

New Vibe FM logo                         Vibe Programme Director Paul Saunders says:
"www.isvibehotornot.com will give the station a true idea of how people will interact with dance music" says Programme Director Paul Saunders. "We know that dance music is a constantly changing phenomenon. Sometimes tracks are popular for a very short time, others can seemingly last forever. This website allows us to mould the station into what our listeners really want."

Paul says the station is committed to meeting the needs of the listeners:
"If successful, VIBE FM, will be committed to reflecting the tastes of this important, unserved audience. The website is one way we want to show Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Loughborough and Mansfield that Vibe means business."

In addition to the voting system, the site allows visitors to listen to the station's sound over the web, and to send in their own comments.
