Five go mad in Chester

Chester 106, Chester FM, Chester Radio, 106.3 DFM and Deva FM 106.3 are all hoping to be the new local radio station for the city, having submitted applications to run a station to the Radio Authority. Each is planning to broadcast local news and information for the area and music will be sourced from current chart hits through to classic tracks from the seventies and eighties. No applications were made for a station to serve South Flintshire, which was being offered as an alternative location for a new station.
