|  Thursday, 25th OctoberLeicester, Nottingham and Derby wake up to new FM regional in late 2002 A potential 1.6 million people could be tuning in to a brand new regional FM radio station, to be based in the East Midlands, toward the latter part of next year. The new station, to be initially licenced for a period of 8 years, will serve the major conurbations of Leicester, Nottingham and Derby as well as many other towns within the region. Among those interested in the licence are modern rock station The Storm, dance & new rock station Liquid FM, dance music station Galaxy and newcomer Kradio. |
