Capital Gold launches music compilation building on the success of the radio brand

Capital Radio plc will this week launch a new music compilation, following the success of its oldies radio brand Capital Gold. Entitled "Legends", the compilation will feature various artists from the radio station's playlist, such as David Bowie and Queen. Capital Gold can be heard in several parts of the country on mediumwave radio, from Brighton in southern England to Cardiff in South Wales.

The release of the album follows a similar move a year ago by Emap Performance, the radio operator with stations primarily in the north of England, with its Magically-titled compilations.
