Digital Radio enters next phase

The next phase of the local digital licence rollout has been announced by the Radio Authority. This will extend the availability of local radio within several areas of the UK, bringing new and existing services to the Digital Radio platform. Usually, services start within six months of the licence being awarded. The timetable is shown below:
