GWR Group plc
Radio group whose station portfolio includes Gemini FM, Orchard FM, SGR FM, 2CR FM and Trent FM. Also owns the nationally-broadcasting Classic FM and the digital radio station Core. If you're tuned in to 'Today's Best Mix' in the Midlands or southern England, you're most likely listening to a GWR Group station. Similarly, the group operates several Classic Gold stations and carries programming from Classic Gold Digital Ltd. GWR Group has launched a number of local websites for its fm stations, which can be accessed via koko.com
Now Digital Ltd
The digital radio arm of GWR Group plc, with news and information about digital radio and Now's multiplexes.
Guardian Media Group plc
Runs Real Radio in South Wales and on Emap's local Digital radio multiplexes. The company also holds a stake in Radio Investments Limited.
UKRD Group
UKRD owns stations such as Pirate FM 102, 107 The Falcon, Star and Clan FM.
Infinity Media Limited
UKRD's major digital, internet and radio development venture.
Emap Performance
Group with stations which are branded "Magic" in the North of England. Also owns Kiss 100 and Magic 105.4 in London, Metro Radio in Newcastle, Radio City in Liverpool and Key 103 in Manchester, amongst others.
Capital Radio plc
Capital owns several stations along the south coast, such as Invicta FM, Southern FM, Power FM, Ocean FM as well as Oxfordshire's Fox FM and South Wales' Red Dragon FM. The Capital Gold brand is, not surprisingly, attributed to Capital Radio, with AM stations in Birmingham, Kent, Sussex, South Wales, Hampshire and London. Capital Radio also owns the 3 regional FM Century radio stations in the East Midlands and North of England.
Chrysalis Radio
The Heart and Galaxy stations are owned and operated by Chrysalis Radio. Separate Heart stations are based in London and the west midlands. Galaxy stations are based in the Westcountry, Birmingham, Manchester, Yorkshire and North-East of England.
Minster Sound Radio plc
York's Minster FM, Brid 102.4FM, Huddersfield's Home 107.9 FM and Yorkshire Coast Radio are all part of Minster Sound Radio plc. Minster Sound Radio plc is wholly owned by GWR Group plc and Radio Investments Limited.
The Wireless Group
Forthcoming website from The Wireless Group (formerly TalkCo), which owns national talk radio station TalkSPORT. It has acquired all stations previously run by Independent Radio Group (IRG) and The Radio Partnership Limited.
Scottish Radio Holdings
Scottish Radio Holdings owns and operates a large number of stations in Scotland, including Forth FM and Radio Borders.
Switch Digital
Switch Digital won the second local digital radio multiplex licence for London.
Score Digital
Score Digital operates several local digital multiplex licences in Scotland and one in Northern Ireland.
Digital Radio Group
This company has submitted applications to run several local digital multiplex licences and is currently running the third London digital multiplex.
UBC Media Group plc
Huge company with various radio interests, including national digital station Oneword.
