Bristol's Sound and Vision show offers a chance to catch up with the latest gear, however this year a few of the more interesting exhibitors were absent.

There's clearly a shift in the market thanks to the iPod, with a multitude of wi-fi internet radio and lifestyle systems with iPod docks signalling a significant shift in the market, as style-conscious consumers opt for compact systems with everything in the one box and manufacturers cash in on the desire for connectivity from MP3 owners.

The big shock of this year's show was the noticeable absence of Pure Digital. Clearly having sewn up the DAB market, it was still disappointing not to have the chance to test drive their latest range of eco-friendly DAB radios in one place.

No matter, we still have reviews of Tangent's range of DAB and wi-fi internet radios, Denon's answer to the Bose Wave DAB - the Denon S-52DAB lifestyle system, and the affordable Onkyo CS-515UK DAB system.

We'll also have a review of the Vita R4 (see pictures below) and Arcam's Solo mini system, so keep checking back here for more to come.

Boothroyd Stuart Meridian F80 in Rosso Corsa

Meridian were showing off their astounding Ferrari-badged F80 80 watt DAB/CD/DVD stunner. With its built-in subwoofer the F80 radiates sound from its curvaceous form. At a grand-and-a-half, the F80 is available in all 5 Ferrari colours and has a wealth of connectivity options.

Vita R4

Slightly more affordable, the Vita R4 CD/iPod/DAB system will be available for GBP 500 from around May. Stay tuned for a review!

Onkyo CS-515 DAB system

Onkyo's award-winning CS-515 DAB system was also on view.

Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin

Bowers and Wilkins' Zeppelin was also a big hit. Complete with iPod dock and unique styling, the Zeppelin is certainly a head turner.
