TEAC's top-of-the-range all in one receiver - the CR-H358i - not only plays CDs, but DVD and DivX discs. Another step up from the TEAC CR-H258i, the 358i drops SD card playback in favour of beefier amplification (2 x 50 Watts) and a 1080p HDMI output.

The TEAC CR-H358i features DAB and FM (with RDS station naming and RadioText) reception and space for 40 of your favourite stations as presets. Considering its playback options, the Teac is a very compact unit, supporting DVD-Video, DVD+R/+RW, VCD, SVCD, CD, CD-R/RW, MP3, WMA Picture CD and DivX (versions 3.11, 4.x, 5.x). DAB station is easier on this model than its brothers, using buttons instead of a dial to pick stations from the list.

The USB interface is located on the front panel, while the iPod docking connector for the included TEAC DS-21 dock, is hidden away around the back alongside FM and DAB aerial connectors, sub out phono socket and a pair of RCA stereo phono inputs - one with a loop back for monitoring of recordings.
